Armed robbery:
Bryanston: On Wednesday March 10, 2010, at approximately 8.25am, a man was climbing out of his vehicle where he parked it in Sloane Street. He was approached by two unknown males who pointed a firearm at him.
They demanded his jewellery and laptop before forcing him to lie down on the ground. The suspects then fled with the stolen goods.

Hi, this is to report that we narrowly escaped being held up in our own house on Dorlyn Avenue, Randburg this Sunday afternoon just after 3pm. We heard our buzzer once but did not answer, as did not want to be disturbed by sellers.

Yesterday some friends and I went up to the SAINTS - Barkingmad/DogtownSA book sale at Northriding Square - Bellairs Dr (Dros and Checkers centre). A couple of friends donate their time and help out there on the first and last Saturday of every month, and the rest of us go and support by buying books.

On Saturday March 5, 2010 the annual CANSA Shavathon took part at the Cresta Centre. Raising funds for CANSA Awareness, thousands of people had their hair dyed or shaved completely as a show of solidarity for CANSA Survivors.
