Exclusive New Moon party at Taboo

Industry insiders say the Twilight Saga spawned one of the biggest movie cult or, in this instance, clan-type following in movie history, attested to by the success of the New Moon promotion launched by Ster-Kinekor and mimoney: fans with a Ster-Kinekor New Moon movie ticket stood a chance of being invited to a once-in-a-lifetime New Moon party which took place at Taboo in Santon on February 5, 2010.
The party was billed as one of the most exclusive movie parties ever staged locally, guest received a welcome drink on arrival and were shown the photo shoot, where guests could use props to have their photos taken. These photos will be available on www.bitemyapple.co.za this week, the photo with the most votes; will be used as part of the next poster.
Guest could choose to get a vampire bite marks tattoo or a wolf tattoo, have their hair sprayed different colours and their make-up touched up and glitter applied to dazzle them up for the dance floor.
Actors and models were dressed as characters from New Moon: Laurent, Victoria, Edward, Bella, Jacob and Alice, all wearing red contact lenses.
There were also photo booths available for guest to have their photos taken and were printed straight away.
Michael Bender, Ster-Kinekor Theatre's™ Group Marketing Executive explained that the promotion talked to fans in their own language across all their preferred communications channels, and embraced cutting-edge technology to deliver a unique and interactive experience.
