On the 12th of Mach 2013 my cousin was referred to Baragwanath Hospital by a private Doctor in Lister building. At Baragwanath Hospital he was diagnosed with TB and admitted. When the family came to Bara to visit him, the next day, his arm was extremely swollen and had turned blue.

Ten years ago the South African Guide-Dogs Association celebrated their Golden Jubilee and one of the highlights was a special tea they hosted for as many couples they could find who were celebrating their Golden Jubilee Wedding Anniversaries.

The 10th annual CANSA Shavathon was held at Brightwater Commons, a Fountainhead retail asset, on Saturday the 2nd March 2013. The event, as usual, was visited by those with big hearts in and around the Randburg, Fourways, Ferndale and other near-by areas.
