Two very special girls needing homes
Since Toyota came out with TV adverts featuring Buddy, the boxer there has been a recent surge in the breed’s popularity. Currently Sandton SPCA is home to two female boxers Jessie and Kayla. They came in separately from different families but the reasons for giving them up were the same. Jessie – 10 months and Kayla (18 months) had become too much to handle. Not enough time and too little space to take care of them.
Boxers are a wonderful dog breed with fun personalities and great family dogs. Potential adopters must be aware though that Boxers require a lot of exercise and training is essential to prevent bad habits from forming. But don’t be deterred Boxers’ are intelligent, loyal pets which are easy to maintain with their short coat. Both Jessie & Kayla are wonderful, loving dogs and would thrive in a new home with people who understand their needs.
If you would like to adopt Jessie and/or Kayla, please contact Sandton SPCA on 011-444-7730 or visit him at our shelter in 9th Street Marlboro Gardens. To help dogs like the “boxer girls” please support Sandton SPCA by giving a donation. For more information, email info@sandtonspca.org.za or visit www.sandtonspca.org.za.
