Alexandra and Isabella

Alexandra and Isabella have been entertaining audiences for the past six years.

Their repertoire ranging from contemporary to operatic pieces have allowed them to perform at corporate, social and local government functions.

The sisters, aged 15 and 12, are from Fourways in Johannesburg and have built up a Facebook presence with their singing of close to 2500 fans.

They’re currently working on their own productions and a CD launch is planned for the near future.

Both girls have reached the highest rung on the achievement-ladder that local vocal competitions have to offer.

Alexandra has been crowned both Junior and Senior Overall Vocal Champion at the National Eisteddfod (a national competition that draws over 10 000 entrants annually).

She has also achieved the honours of Vocal Grand Champion at the South African Championships of Performing Arts two years in a row.

Previously, in 2009, she was crowned with the Triple Threat Trophy (for Gold Medals in Vocals, Drama and Modelling) at SACOPA.

Isabella has followed in Alexandra’s footsteps by receiving the Junior Overall Vocal Champion award at the recent NEA Finals and has on more than one occasion been Vocal Champion in her age group at SACOPA.

More recently she was invited to perform with the JSO at the Linder and PU auditoriums and has just completed a run of 50 performances as Alice in the People’s Theatre production – Alice in Wonderland.

In 2010 the girls, after a rigorous elimination process, had the honour of performing at one of the official FIFA Fanfests. Isabella is now pursuing her love of Ventriloquism with her ‘Meet Rosie Show” on You Tube.
