Electricity outage:
ESKOM requires a total shutdown of the Randburg substation for maintenance on Sunday September 19 from 5am to 7pm – all areas that are supplied by the substation will be affected.

I don't know how many Blairgowrie residents are aware, that on the corner of Geneva and Eileen Road, across for the Blairgowrie Plaza, there is an animation studio called Luma. And that is where the Bun&Bunee TV series was born!

An animation studio in Blairgowrie is on the brink of international stardom! A little support will see Bun&Bunee be the first South African produced, 3D animated series on British Television.

I would like to say a big thank you to Tim and his team (Gerard and Sean) from Piranha. On Saturday the Blairgowrie school fete began with us only receiving one of our medics and no ambulance as organised and a field full of people arriving.

The Bordeaux South Residents Association (BSRA) intends planting a hedge along Jan Smuts which will help with security as well as improve the look of the suburb.
