Sector 6 awareness campaign

“Don’t let Thieves steal your Christmas”
Members of Douglasdale CPF Sector 6 have embarked on an awareness campaign to educate the community on safety, both at home and while shopping which also includes shop owners. On Friday Night, December 2, 2011 they went to the Olivedale Corner and All Saints Shopping Centres in Olivedale to hand out safety tips for the festive season.

The campaign was started on November 1, 2011 they have two main sponsors (RSS Security and ADT). RSS has paid for 2000 flyers and ADT have also paid for 2000 flyers and three banners that have put on the following sites:
• Jukskei Park Spar
• Intersection at Olivedale Hospital
• Opposite Northriding Square on the fence of the Guest House

The flyers are distributed by the members of Sector 6 CPF at shops, schools, business parks, churches and hospital in the area. The various resident associations have also been sending them out to the members in their areas.
