A white old shape Jetta or Golf with 3 to 4 male occupants suspected of pushing gates off rails / vehicle theft / theft from vehicles – incidents reported around Barkston and Malcolm roads, Blairgowrie.

Five separate incidents related to shootings in Johannesburg were logged through ER24's 084 124 number today. A call was logged shortly after the first in Muldersdrift, with two men that had sustained alleged gun shot wounds to the heads. Paramedics called for the Discovery Medicopter, which was not available due to having gone out to the first shooting.

Our high crime report last week has been supported with the report of nearly 100 Reservist Officers being called up in the Northern Suburbs to combat the high incidents of Trio Crimes, IE; House Robbery, Business Robbery and Hi-Jacking. This is an unprecedented call up for three types of criminal acts and shows that we have a serious crime wave on our hands.

A man died after being shot at his house in Blairgowrie at around 8pm on Saturday night, August 7, 2010. Exact details to the shooting will remain a subject for police investigation and comment.

Assault and attempted robbery
It has been reported that while on his way to the Shell Garage to buy a few goods, a gentleman was approached by three unknown men. The men tried to rob him of cash and personal belongings. When the victim refused to hand his belongings over, the suspects assaulted him after which he fled to the Shell Garage for help.
