Inaugural Lazygamer Festival

Family event jam-packed with the latest games, giveaways and discounts

In celebration of gaming Lazygamer, a popular local gaming site, will be presenting their first ever gaming festival at Brightwater Commons in Randburg, Johannesburg from the 16th to 18th December between 10am to 6pm.

The bumper line-up includes LAN gaming, fantastic giveaways, the latest games with all the distributors present, discounts, exhibits and community meet-ups, keeping both the hardcore and casual gamer entertained.

“Gaming is our passion and we wanted to give families the opportunity to explore the gaming world together. We chose Brightwater Commons because it is a family-oriented and open centre with a host of activities and great stores, so while the kids are enjoying the
festival their parents can finish-off their Christmas shopping.

We have also partnered with one of the retailers, ZAPS, who will be offering a 10% discount on all merchandise displayed at our exhibit in the Promotions Court,” says Gavin Mannion who heads up Lazygamer.net.

Big names such as Microsoft Xbox 360, Nintendo, EA Games and Ster-Kinekor will be displaying the latest consoles and games. The Nintendo Wii offers the whole family a chance to have fun with gaming, even Mom! Mobile interactive gaming centres, courtesy of GameVan and GaminOnTheGo, will keep gamers of all ages enthralled with 3D screens, eight-gaming seats and the ultimate in hi-definition PS3 and Wii gaming.

One of the highlights of the festival will be the community meet and greet at Scrooges Diner at Brightwater on Saturday 17th December at 7pm.

So whether you are looking to be entertained or find that special gift at a great price, the Lazygamer Festival is the place to be this weekend.
