Nelson Mandela's wish for South Africa: A humane society!
This can only be achieved if all creatures are respected and cared for.
Residents have to stand and work together for the good of our suburb - otherwise Council etc. will just do as they please without considering our interests!
Animals are abused by cruel human beings on a daily basis, therefore we included in our constitution: 'The Bloubosrand Community Forum will not tolerate cruelty to animals, human beings, the destruction of the environment and any form of racism' - if everyone would keep this in mind, our world would experience a total turn-around - in other words we have to start with the foundation to build a house, it is no good to start with the window frames!
We are still need assistance to create an Animal Clinic in Cosmo City, we find it difficult to comprehend that it has not been established as yet by the City of Johannesburg/Basil Read. If anyone can help - please call us.
