Deteriorating condition of the dam in the Florence Bloom bird sanctuary in Delta Park

I notice with a great deal of dismay that water hyacinth is once again ridge on the surface of that lovely dam.

A few years ago it was also dreadful, but was subsequently cleared, and looked really great. I am afraid that by the end of summer it will be back to its terrible state.

Is anyone doing anything about it?!! I have offered to help with the wages for a laborer to help clear the menace manually.

PLEASE let’s not let it go back to what it was.
