The Parlotones spray heads
A touching moment………
On Saturday March 5, 2010 the annual CANSA Shavathon took part at the Cresta Centre. Raising funds for CANSA Awareness, thousands of people had their hair dyed or shaved completely as a show of solidarity for CANSA Survivors.
The Parlotones did their part for the cause and lent a hand in spraying heads and adding the absolutely amazing atmosphere.
Leeat Confait decided that she would have her hair cut and donate it to CANSA. Her hair had been uncut for many years and was her crowning glory. Her mom, Lesley Tippet who is a cancer survivor and volunteer at the Shavathon cut her hair amongst much joyous tears.
