Business Strategic Workshop
The Randburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) in partnership with South African Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SACCI) would like to invite member businesses, businesses and the local community of Randburg to a strategic workshop on 30 March. The session will be held at Jackal Creek Golf Estate, boundary road Honeydew from 9am to 1pm.
The session with be facilitated by SACCI’ Advisor Peggy Drodskie (COO) among the panelists is Edgar Blomeyer RCCI President, Lebohang Mathope City of Joburg (Human Development).
The workshop is aimed at reigniting open communication between the Chamber, its members, local businesses and the community. This will also serve as a networking session for businesses and the local community.
Guests are invited to give views, expertise and share information on issues that affect businesses in the Randburg area and how these can be tackled.
Some of the topics to be discussed include:
• How to establish and maintain business contacts
• What kind of information businesses would like to see in the RCCI newsletter?
• What training would you like the RCCI to provide in future?
• What speakers and topics should be included in future networking sessions/events?
• What local and national issues are of major concern to businesses and who is best suited to deal with these?
• SACCI will talk briefly about identifying government organizations that work and assist businesses or that can be a potential client and explain the process of arranging meetings with some government official representatives.
• SACCI will touch on how big businesses and corporate can locate suitable BEE partners/suppliers and how small businesses can tap into the pool of big businesses.
• The process of application to sit in the RCCI board of management and what the requirements are.
In addition, the RCCI and SACCI is calling upon businesses and community members who are able in any way to share their expertise to step up and assist in this strategic workshop. This could be businesses that are able to share their expertise in their area of business through networking sessions, events and are able to assist the RCCI in anyway.
Interested businesses can contact the RCCI directly prior to the strategic workshop so they can be included in the programme. They will be an open floor for discussion and businesses and the community are urged to attend.
Entrance is free but booking is essential for seating and access code purposes.
