MAD Domestic Watch class

Penny Steyn will conduct a session on Criminal Cons as part of her MAD Domestic Watch classes at the Fontainebleau Community Church on March 25 from 12 noon.

The topic for March will be “Criminal’s Cons”.
I have been researching the types of cons used by criminals for some time and this lesson has a massive amount of content not only for domestics and gardeners.

I always encourage the attendees to share their lessons with their employers and nearest and dearest. In my opinion there is no room for “I just knew no better” left in South Africa! We have to be one step ahead of the criminals. Multitudes of horrific crime incidents can be prevented if our employees and their employers know what to look out for. The police tell me “Crime happens in homes where domestics and gardeners are not attending MAD Domestic Watch meetings”!

Our numbers in Linden Precinct are slowly increasing but are still far from our ideal goal set. If all who receive this mailer continue to send out to all community members together with the sms’s to attendees that I send out every month surely we can double attendance and why not! large numbers attending have proved and will continue to significantly bring down crime! Why wouldn’t employers allow their employees to become a part of the solution to crime?

February we had a total of 34 with 5 new domestics and gardeners! This is great. Let’s encourage our domestics and gardeners to help us to swell attendance.
